Macon is celebrating 200 years since its founding the year with several events scheduled to take place throughout the year, including the second part of twelve monthly presentation that review Macon's history. 

The subject matter for the second presentation will be race, ethnicity, and culture. 

This event is free to the public and will take from 6 until 8 p.m. in the Peyton Anderson Amphitheater, which is inside Taylor Hall on the Wesleyan College campus. 

The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation has provided funding for all twelve presentations that will take place on each month of the year.
