Book enthusiasts can browse thousands of titles at the three-day book sale from the Houston County Friends of the Library taking place at the Georgia National Fairgrounds.

The sale will be held in the Georgia Grown Building from Thursday, April 24, through Saturday, April 26, 2025. Admission is just $5 on Thursday, while entry is free on Friday and Saturday. Parking is also free for the entire event.

With 90,000 books spanning 60 categories, this event promises something for everyone, from casual readers to dedicated collectors. Most books and media will be priced between $1 and $2.25, according to the organizer of the sale. 

Categories of books for sale include children’s books, cookbooks, mysteries, religious texts, vintage finds, and much more. On the final day of the sale, all remaining items will be offered at half price.

Payments can be made using cash, checks, credit, or debit cards, ensuring convenience for attendees.
