The 12th annual Macon Sleepout will once again allow people to sleep outside and better understand what the homeless experience. Macon Sleepout also helps raise funds to support the Daybreak Day Resource Center, which helps those living without homes in Macon.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their tents and friends to experience a night of sleeping under the stars, "community building around fire circles", and a night of solidarity with those experiencing homelessness.
You can donate at this link to help Depaul USA with their mission of helping others in need. You can also volunteer at the Daybreak Day Resource Center to do things like moving furniture, cleaning laundry, serving fod, and organizing special events.
