From the Editor's Desk: Thanks to all the Readers of Middle Georgia Times!

As the editor of the Middle Georgia Times, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to the heart and soul of our community – the people in our community!

In the spirit of giving thanks, I must also express my deep appreciation for coffee – the unsung hero of newsrooms everywhere. Without it, typos would reign supreme and the phrase "breaking news" would take on a whole new meaning. 

As we navigate through the holiday season and beyond, let's remember to be thankful for the little things – like the smell of decicious food cooking, laughter shared among loved ones, and a community that includes many people trying their best to be positive and treat others fairly.

So, from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you in Middle Georgia, thank you! Thank you for being the characters in our communities's stories, for keeping us on our toes, and for helping support Middle Georgia Times's goal of putting a spotlight on the positive news in Middle Georgia.
