PRESS RELEASE: Local inventor creates toy to keep families connected and children comforted
Annette Bentley Smith of AnneCorp Literary Works is an inventor, author, and entrepreneur. who has created a toy made to keep families connected and children comforted through a patent-pending invention.
Her invention, Kobe's Story-Time Plush Tales, is a new more creative approach among comfort and wellness toys.
"Comfort and wellness toys are what's trending and will be around for the long haul" according to Azhelle Wade, The Toy Coach.
Kobe - a soft, comfortable, plush koala bear that is also a pillow to allow for physical comfort, allows a parent or caregiver to download their own voice to be played when they cannot be nearby via his USB port on his foot.
Kobe, the story-time koala bear currently recites five of my original stories, and plays calming music. It has a headphone jack for a quieter option for children to listen to music, stories and messages. He also has his own book that holds a photo of a child's special loved one.
Who is this comfort and wellness toy for? The target market is incarcerated parents, children with long-term stay in the hospital, autistic children, deployed parents, daycare centers, Dementia/Alzheimer's patients and children in general.
