Triangle Arts Macon's First Annual 4/20 Festival

Triangle Arts Macon is celebrating April 20th "with vendors, art, music, food and more" this year. 

This first annual 4/20 Festival will feature a brand-new collection of artworks from artist and wizard Martin Fromm, who will unveil his new collection of art work. There will also be art from Angelia Henigman, Hinda-Jonathan Collection, Roy Scott, the Ocmulgee Artist Guild, and artists from Triangle Arts Macon. 

Guests are invited to walk around the arts campus and discover all the surprising art displayed throughout the large Triangle Arts Macon campus. The Church of Duane Allman, a mobile art installation by prolific artist Johnny Mollica, will be on campus during this event. 

Triangle Arts Macon has additionally invited various poets and musicians to perform their newest original content throughout the seven hour event. Musical acts will perform live from 5 until 10 p.m. and include BandDroidz, Scott Baston and Kat Bugatti of Headstrings, The EMA, Dufflebag the Rapper, and Shagg.

The BandDroidz will perform at the first annual Macon 4/20 Festival

Five food trucks are  scheduled to be serving food throughout the day: Jackson’s Sausages, Freddie’s Cheeseburgers, The Burning Bush Food Truck, The Rusty Walk with Grow Fresh Local Food, and Frios Gourmet Pops truck.

There will be vendors selling unique CBD products, including CBD infused cocktails (from Ryan Smith of Lazy Susan Tapas) and non-alcoholic CBD seltzers (from Fall Line Brewery). Other non-CBD infused beverages will be available for purchase as well.

Starting at 3 p.m. there will be an hour-long information seminar regarding the different applicable laws dealing with marijuana and similar plants and products, according to Triangle Arts Macon. There will be a self-guided mediation starting at 4 p.m.

Tickets for this event are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate with an additional $5 for parking onsite at Triangle Arts Macon. There will be no refunds for ticket purchases, according to Triangle Arts Macon.
