THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17th

Taylor Hunnicut and The Low Water Bridge Band at Grant's Lounge (9 p.m.)

Taylor Hunnicut is a country singer from Alabama who recently released a single titled "All or Nothin". On that single Hunnicut played the same tambourine used in The Allman Brothers Band's song "Jessica". The Low Water Bridge Band is a band from Virginia who started playing after a fateful night of music made around a campfire.

Tickets cost $10 and Grant's Lounge is located at 576 Poplar Street.

Karaoke Every Thursday at JBA (10 p.m.)

JBA is hosting another late evening of Karaoke on Thursday. Willie D of Fresh Produce Records hosts. This event is free to attend.

JBA is located at 499 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Friday, November 18th

Funk You at The Society Garden (8:30 p.m.)

Funk You plays music with a "healthy helping of soul" and a funky beat. The band has a decade of performing experience.

Tickets cost $15 and The Society Garden is located at 2389 Ingleside Avenue.

Direwoof at Grant's Lounge (9 p.m.)

Direwoof is a band made of members of Macon's The Woofs and BAS that pays tribute to The Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia with their music.

Tickets cost $5 and Grant's Lounge is located at 576 Poplar Street.

Matt McMillan and the City Limits at JBA (10 p.m.)

This band plays "guitar-driven Americana music" with banjos and mandolins along with McMillan's songs. Matt McMillan and the City Limits have previously performed at other popular music venues like Eddie's Attic, Ashley Street Station, and Grant's Lounge.

JBA is located at 499 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Wyatt & Dan and Friends at The Hummingbird Stage and Taproom (10 p.m. - 2 a.m.)

Wyatt Pyles and Dan Kelly will take The Hummingbird's stage along with some of their musical friends this Saturday.

Tickets cost $5 at the door and The Hummingbird is located at 430 Cherry Street.

The Hodgetwins at The Hargray Capitol Theatre (8 p.m.)

The Hodgetwins, also known at the Conservative twins, are stand-up comedians and sometimes controversial conservative political commentators currently residing in Las Vegas.

Tickets cost $40 to $45 and The Hargray Capitol Theatre is located at 382 Second Street.



SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12th

Teddy Swims at The Hargray Capitol Theatre (8 p.m.)

Teddy Swims is a 29-year-old singer songwriter from Atlanta whose music is a mix of pop and rock and roll. He has appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, The Kelley Clarkson Show, and Today and has a devoted following (which might make getting a ticket for the show on Saturday more difficult). 

Teddy Swims will also perform at the Capitol on Sunday at 8 p.m.

Tickets start at $25 The Hargray Capitol Theatre is located at 382 Second Street.

T Royal at Serenity Entertainment Complex (8 p.m.- 1 a.m.)

Serenity's R&B Saturday presents Atlanta R&B artist T Royal this weekend.

Tickets cost $10 and Serenity Entertainment Complex is located at 427 Poplar Street.

Champ Jaxon at The Society Garden (8 - 11 p.m.)

Champ Jaxon is an 11-year-old blues and rock musician from Southwest Florida. He has performed over 100 times throughout the eastern U.S.

The Society Garden is located at 2389 Ingleside Avenue.

Miranda and Friends at A Brooke Haven Lounge (9 p.m.)

Miranda is celebrating her birthday with live musical performances from Dexter Davis, Terry Cotton, and Elijah Bell.

This event has no cover charge with reservations made for inside seating by calling (478) 259-6759. A Brooke Haven Lounge's dress code is at minimum business casual.

A Brooke Haven Lounge is located at 499 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Eddie 9v at Grant's Lounge (9 p.m.)

Eddie 9V is an Atlanta born musician who started his musical career at the age of 15 and played the "roots and blues club circuit" in his hometown.

Tickets cost $15 and Grant's Lounge is located at 576 Poplar Street.

B. Keith Williams at JBA (10 p.m.)

B. Keith Williams is an experienced musician who has toured across the U.S. and opened for artists like Willie Nelson and Gregg Allman. Williams also won the Macon Telegraph's Best of the Bands for five years.

JBA is located at 499 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

REHAB at The Hummingbird Stage and Taproom (10 p.m. - 2 a.m.)

REHAB is a band that started in Warner Robins in the 1970s and is now composed of its founding member, Danny Boone Alexander. This band's most well known song is their 2008 "Bartender Song (Sittin' at a Bar)" which appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 list at number 64.
