Gigantic, Colorful Graffiti Walls in Downtown Macon

Did you know you can spray paint graffiti legally in five places in Macon? There are four community graffiti walls located throughout downtown Macon. 

Mark Thompson of NewTown Macon was instrumental in getting the four walls installed. The walls are on Cherry Street Lane, near Theatre Macon, behind the Dempsey Apartments, and near the Tubman Museum.

Colin Penndorf is the General Manager of Triangle Arts Macon. He says Triangle Arts Macon is also a good place to practice tagging walls without breaking laws.

Triangle Arts Macon's Grand Opening is scheduled for Saturday, December 11th. The Grand Opening starts at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m. There will be two bands performing, food trucks, a gallery opening, and more. Fall Line Brewery will be serving drinks and artist Kevin Lewis will be completing a live painting during the event as well.
